Shipping costs are calculated during checkout, and depends on the Country/ Region specified in the shipping address.
Helmholtz Coils purchased online can only be shipped to the UK. This is because they are very large and heavy items, and best-value shipping can vary. If you are purchasing a Helmholtz Coil for delivery outside the UK please contact us directly.
International Shipping for products purchased online is available only to destinations in UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
Certain products are legally required to have an export licence before they may be shipped outside the UK.
If you have unsure about whether an export licence is required for products you wish to purpose, contact sales@bartington.com for advice.
If you are purchasing products, some of which require an export licence, it can simplify order processing if you you create a separate order for the products requiring an export licence.
We have not yet enabled customer account creation. This facility will be enabled soon.
Business customers are not entitled to cancel any orders. Consumers can exercise their statutory cancellation rights as described in our Terms & Conditions of Sale of Goods and Supply of Services, and can (but are not required to) use this cancellation form to do so. Our online shop uses PayPal for accepting payments. The payment methods accepted depend on PayPal, and may vary over time.
We offer replacement batteries for most products.
The Grad601 and Spectramag-6 use Lithium Ion batteries, which we do not currently offer online. For more information about batteries for these products, refer to their brochures and operation manuals.
VAT Registered Whether you are registered for VAT in the UK. Click here to learn more (external link).
VAT Number This is the number shown on your VAT registration certificate.

Final Destination This is required for UK export controls. It is the final destination country for the products being purchased. For example, if the products are being delivered to a first country, and then being sent on to a second (final destination) country, you must give the name of the second country here.
Product End-use This is required for UK export controls. It is the use to which the products will be put. For example, Oil exploration.
Product Application This is the specific use to which the products will be put. Some applications may require an export licence. For example, Integration into a mine detection system.
